General Information

All sales are final, and we, unfortunately, cannot offer refunds after purchase. In the rare event that we need to cancel the cruise, you will be issued a credit for a future sailing date.

Because your ticket is automatically reserved for you, we, unfortunately, cannot reschedule your ticket for any reason. Please keep this in mind when selecting your cruise date and time.

Our dock is located at 900 S Wells St, Chicago, IL 60607. Once you arrive, we will complete your registration in the parking lot before embarking. Please note that the cruise starts and finishes at this location.

One of the perks of booking an architecture boat cruise with Tours & Boats is that parking is relatively easy to find! There is a parking lot located at the marina, and it costs around $10. For more information, please see our detailed guide here. However, please note that it is possible for the parking lot to fill up early, and we are not responsible in the event that you are unable to find a spot. For this reason, we recommend arriving early so that you can find alternate parking, should the need arise.

If the date you want is not listed on the calendar, this means our boat is reserved for a private event. However, we do sometimes add new cruise dates or times if an opening becomes available, so please check back often.

Because we operate rain or shine, our cruises cannot be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather. The only exception is if the coast guard stops boat operations, in which case we will contact you and offer you a cruise credit to be redeemed at a later date. Please bring a poncho or umbrella if you wish to remain above deck while it rains or find seats in the comfortable interior deck below.

Absolutely! Please check out our private cruises and tours page for more information on what we offer and fill out the form to inquire about booking. If you have more questions, please feel free to email us directly at info@toursandboats.com.

We do! We offer discounts for groups of 6 or more adults. We also offer the option to rent the entire boat if you’d like a private tour for just you and your group. Please see our group cruises and tours page for more details.

Ticketing Information

Yes. If you have an Eventbrite ticket, you can give your ticket to anyone you wish regardless of the name printed on it. We only need to scan the unique barcode on each ticket to confirm the purchase.

Yes. Even though children age 3 and under are free, you need to register them for a ticket. This is because the Coast Guard counts all the human passengers on the boat.

Eventbrite offers a troubleshooting guide on where to find your tickets, which you can read here.

In this situation, you will be required to do standby for your child. We try to give parents priority when possible, but we can neither guarantee nor promise that you will be granted a spot. For this reason, we strongly urge you to make sure that each member of your group has a ticket.

If you wish to purchase your tickets via the standby method, please arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the cruise. All our standby tickets will be distributed first-come, first-serve. Although the chances are usually pretty good that there will be extra spots available, we cannot guarantee it.

We will first process all the ticketed passengers. If there are any no-shows, we will process the Standby guests in order. For example, if there are 15 no-shows, we will process the first 15 people in the Standby line. It will be $40/pp (exact change, cash only) to purchase a ticket on-site. If you have purchased a voucher already, you can use that for the ticket; however, it must be an un-redeemed / unused voucher. If using a voucher, you will only need to pay for the taxes & fees ($5/pp) (cash only, exact change).

To redeem your voucher, please download it from the site where you purchased it and follow the step-by-step instructions. If you cannot locate your voucher number, please contact the site where the voucher was purchased.
